I’ve changed the IT Career Roadmap to a Security Career Roadmap, which is still very useful for non-security IT career planning.

The main reason is because CompTIA stopped hosting the certification roadmap that the Career Roadmap was based on. Additionally, I felt that the updated NICE Framework work roles would make a more standarized set of job titles rather than the random job titles I personally saw on job boards.

Obviously, many job titles are missing from this new chart. I plan to fix this in a future version by converting this image into an interactive HTML or Javascript widget. In that widget, I will list some other common names for each of the NICE work roles and make those searchable.
